Peregrines at Torrey Pines State Beach : May 27, 2022

Probably the most action packed afternoon I've ever seen at Torrey Pines. There was some routine sparring, but then Mom brought in a snowy egret carcass. One juvenile snagged it and the others went back to screaming and sparring. Dad showed up in the middle of that to do a food transfer with Mom, who then gave it to one of the juveniles. A short while later, he brought another kill, and a tug of war ensued between the juveniles. They dropped the food and Mom scooped it up and transfered it back to one of the kids...

Dad missed, but Mom grabs it...
