Peregrines at Torrey Pines State Beach : March 2022

The resident male was fighting with a visiting bird today (with transmitter and band, black B0 on white?). The female looks like she might be incubating. Later on, the male chased a bird near the beach and brought it back to her. They mated after she ate.

The female chased off a visiting juvenile this afternoon. She later traded places with the male at the nest, after which he flew off towards the lagoon. He didn't come back before sunset.
