Peregrines at Torrey Pines State Beach : June 6-7, 2016

June 6, 2016

The sun came out in the afternoon, so I visited the beach. Of course, most of the action looked like it was up on the trail. From below, the occasional single juvenile would circle out away from the cliff every now and then. The clouds were starting to move in by around 6:30 when the action picked up. A food exchange apparently occurred near the south overlook, because a juvenile came flying north from there with food.

Didn't see the exchange, but this juvenile has food now.

An overcast morning cleared out around 11A, when the juveniles started flying in earnest, but the clouds started moving in again before 1P. There was a presumed feeding when Mom showed up around 12:30.
